Chondrodite

(Mg,Fe2+)5[(F,OH)2|(SiO4)2]

Silicates (Neosilicates, Humite Group)
Appearance: In a small and rare complex of crystals. Normally in a round grains and massive aggregates. Color yellow to dark redish-brown.
Hardmess: 6-6,5
SG: 3,1-3,2
Translucent with vitreous or resinous luster.
Crystal system: Monoclinic.
Environment: Is a very common metamorph in dolomitic marbels formed by regional and contact metamorphism.
