Anthophyllite

(Mg,Fe2+)7[OH|Si4O11]2

Silicates, (inosilicates, amphibol group) a hydrous magnesium iron silicate.
Appearance: Often in fibrous needles or lamellar habits. The color is grey to light green, or light brown.
Hardness: 5,5-6
SG: 2,8-3,2
Translucent with vitreous luster.
Crystal system: Orthorombic.
Environment: Crystaline schists in introsive rocks.
