Amazonite

K[AlSi₃O₈]

Silicates, (tecosilicate, feldspar group, K-Feldspars) a potassium aluminium silicate.
Appearance: Prismatic crystals, often twinned. The color is green to bluegreen.
Hardness: 6-6,5
SG: 2,5-2,6
Translucent or transparant with vitreous luster.
Crystal system: Triclinc.
Environment: Granitic pegmatites and metamorphic rocks. Formed in medium to low-temperatues.
