Adularia

K(AlSi3O8)

Adularia is a var. of orthoclase silicate (tectosilicates, feldspar group, K-feldspars) and is a potassium aluminium-silicate.
Appearance: The color can be white, colorless, light yellowish or greenish.
Hardness: 6
SG: 2,5
Vitreous to perly luster.
Crystal system: Monoclinc.
Environment: Formed in low-temperature hydrothermal veins or Alpine lithoclases.
